Performance of Bohuslav Martinů’s concert work, marking the first performance of the piece since 1955 and the premiere of a newly created orchestral reduction by Nicholas Suminski. Intimate Groupmuse concert featuring Czech music and the U.S. premiere of Nightfall Wanders by Czech composer Nikol Bóková, performed by visiting bassoonist Michaela Špačková in collaboration with the first string quartet to perform in the host’s home. The quartet featured Avery Morris, Vanda Paszko, Ruth Stokes, and Noémie Chemali.

Lecture and performance presented by the Northeastern University Jewish Studies Program as part of Holocaust and Genocide Awareness Week and the Holocaust Legacy Foundation’s Gideon Klein Scholarship. Program includes the Boston premiere of the Dodecaphonic Sketch for solo violin (transcription by Avery Morris), the Duo for Violin and Cello, and the String Trio.
